I have come to love Germany. I lived there for almost 4 months and absolutely fell in love with the language, the people, the culture, and the beautiful country.
A few things to share with you as I begin my research:
According to Wikipedia, Germany is primarily Christian (30% Catholic, 29.9% Protestant). I would argue, however, that this demographic is more of something people identify themselves with rather than committed and practicing Christians.
They are a major exporter of automobiles (Like Audi, Mercedes, Volkswagen) and railway vehicles.
One of my personal favorite German dishes is Käse Spätzle. It is amazing. Cheesy. Noodley. And looks like this:
As many know, Germany is known for its beer. Fun fact! There are beer production laws that maintain the pure 'German beer' quality.
Germany's official language is German.
80% of the inhabitants of Germany are ethnically German.
Heidelberg is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Germany and is, my personal favorite. This beautiful city is where I lived during my time in Germany.
